New Scanner/ New Website!

Finally! after years of wanting a Epson v700 scanner I got one!
It scans every format of film i shoot plus more! im so excited to get my 4×5 stuff scanned so every one can see!

Now the bad news….well good news.
My new website is about 50% finished and with a new website comes a new blog!
So sadly this might be one of my last post on this blog before i start posting to a new one!
I will still leave this blog up for people to check out all of my old work and for me to glance back at as well, but i will start posting from a more professional looking blog in the next week or two!

Cant wait!

Keep Calm And Say Cheese- Black.

As i said before in previous post when i first uploaded this design I mentioned that i was going to be making prints of this.
and as promised!
I sure did!
These are hand pulled screen printed posters that I did myself!
I am gonna be doing these prints in a series of 4. The series is gonna be CMYK so there will be 4 different color posters, Limited to 20 each.
Black was the first of the 4 as you can tell!
They are printed on a heavy card stock 11×17.
Once i print the last one of the series Im not gonna print them again.

Went to Philadelphia this weekend for some ones 51st birthday and I shot a good amount of instant film.
Ill upload the film shots when I get them processed.

I need a new scanner.

The Reporter Pt. 2

Like i was saying before, i was really excited to start shooting more with my Polaroid reporter and as promised here are some more shots.
(I really cant wait to get my new scanner so i can smash this one.)

Turns out when you pull the polaroid threw the rollers and out of the camera the developer can get on the rollers and dry them out. Needless to say my last few shots were waisted and i now know to clean the rollers every few shots. haha

The Reporter

So this week I ordered a new camera of ebay!

It is a Polaroid reporter.
It takes polaroid pack film, it is also my first time with one of these cameras and i must say i am really enjoying it so far!

First time with a new camera requires experimenting.

Ide say shooting in this dark of conditions isent gonna work haha.

Try #2 came out great though!

These images have a completely different feel to them then the shots from my Fuji film instax camera.

Either way I really look forward to shooting more with this camera.

Into It Over It.

Last month my friend Evan who has a project called Into It Over It blew threw my side of NY to play a show with the bands Daytrader and Transit, I asked him if i could take some shots of him that night and he was all for it. I have always enjoyed his music as should you. If you like indie rock/ acoustic music for your soul I highly recommend check out some of his releases! (trust me he has a lot) and they are all great.
I got to meet evan a few months ago when he rolled threw with my friends in Such Gold and I have to say that he is one of the most friendliest people I have ever met.
He will be on tour this coming march and may and if hes by you, go to one of his shows and watch him play some awesome tunes.
Im sure all of his tour dates will be posted Here on his website!

Ive been seeing these posters all over the place and the original says “keep calm and carry on” .
I decided to make a mock off of it for all my photo friends. Once i get my poster press up and running i plan to print it into a poster!
